Nami w/ Wrap-around Lighting ala Jill Greenberg`s crying children series.

The most recent activity in the Strobist Bootcamp really clicked for me and I think it was the missing piece of the puzzle in my flash knowledge. It didn`t make me an instant photo genius, by any means, but I can really tell a difference in the quality of my lighting because of this activity. The assignment was to use one flash, and take multiple photos changing only the proximity of the flash to the subject and the aperture. The shutter speed and flash power stay the same throughout. As a result, the lighting stays the same, but the aperture affects the light falloff. The higher the aperture, the darker the shadows and the less falloff on the background. I`ll have to try this without moving the flash and only changing the flash power, too, for comparison. That will come shortly…
