Strength Beyond Strength
Published May 29th, 2007 in GeneralSorry I haven’t posted in a while. Lack of motivation and I haven’t taken so many pictures that I’ve been thrilled with lately. Usually, my motivation waxes and wanes and I tend to shoot during the peak moments. Every few months or so, I get a burst of motivation, go out on a (photo, of course) shooting spree, and then all my energy and motivation is gone again. Recently though, I’ve had a lot of new things to try out so my morale is up. I really want to work using my speed lights, for example, and not use HDR as a crutch so much. Going back to basics and strengthen my knowledge of all that stuff. Even if my motivation goes down again, I want to try and push through it, and force myself to work on something, anything, if only to stay consistent and produce something average. After all, pros don’t get the luxury of deciding when they want to go out and shoot, and if I want to be a pro someday I’ve got to buck up and not be such a girly-man, to quote Schwarzenegger. So on that note, look forward to many more posts containing great and not-so-great images (but at least I have something to show that I’ve been out producing) in the near future.
P.S. Thank god Season 3 of Lost is over. Now I can have my life back!
